Wick and Flame Snuffer

Remember to extinguish your candle with a flame snuffer.
For continued fragrance to linger in your room,
dip the flame in the wax puddle and return it to the upright positon for next time. If you extinguish ANY candle this way, you will never have any residual smoke trail.

Long Burn Times! Candle Size and Burn Time 3.5 oz. Jar up to 50 hrs. 6.5 oz. Jar up to 60 hrs. 9.8 oz. Jar up to 120 hrs. 12.6 oz. Jar up to 180 hrs. Votives up to 20 hrs. Tea Lights up to 10 hrs. There are a few simple steps to follow to get the maximum enjoyment from your candles. Soy wax is softer than paraffin, which is one of the reasons you won't find pillar candles made of 100% soy. Therefore, votives need to be burned in a tight-fitting container for maximum fragrance and burn time. This first full burn will set the candles memory, and will help prevent wick tunneling in future lightings. Soy wax does not burn as hot as paraffin wax, so soy candles require a thicker wick, which does not combust 100%. After each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch in length to minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick left by the previous burn. When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to pool all the way to the sides of the container. (Pooling is simply defined as melted wax. The initial burn of any candle should last as long as it takes to get the melted wax all the way to the edges of the jar - about 1" per hour.) This will give you maximum fragrance and minimize the amount of wax remaining on the sides of the container. If you don't allow the wax to pool on the first burn of your soy candle (or any candle), you may get "tunneling", which means the wax simply burns down the center of the candle, leaving wax on the side of the jar. Easy Candle Burning Instructions: * Never burn a candle unattended. * Never burn a candle unattended near children or pets. * ALWAYS burn candles on a heat resistant surface. * Keep candles within a foot circumference of flammable objects. * Extinguish flame when wick reaches a ¼ of an inch from the bottom of the jar. Failure to do so will result in the breakage of the glass and will spray hot melted wax and flames causing injury or fire. * Trim your wick before every use. * Burning candles away from drafts. * Do not move candle while wax is in a liquid form. * Do not burn candles in a moving vehicle.
